Iced Coffee Frappe


One for you, one for me...


Ingredients:
1/4 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 cups half-and-half
1 quart vanilla ice cream
2 cups ginger ale
Vanilla ice cream, optional

Preparation:
Stir together first 4 ingredients in a large pitcher; cool. Cover and chill at least 8 hours. Stir together coffee mixture, half-and-half, and 1 quart ice cream in a punch bowl. Stir in ginger ale; ladle into glasses. Top with ice cream, if desired.

Yield:
Makes about 10 cups
